I am a self employed accounts administrator which I have been doing for 30 years. I am contracted by small businesses to do any book keeper and adminstration work required. I use Xero and MYOB as accounting packages and also do wages and keep up to date their IRD requirements. Depending on the business I do the work weekly, monthly or two monthly. I travel to some of my clients and others I work from home.
Most of the businesses I work for cannot justify having a full time person doing their accounts and so being flexible with what they require has always been a bonus. I have varied clients from a Medical Centre, Clothing Retail and Manufacturer, Magazine Publisher and a Media Placement Agency which makes the work much more interesting.
